I too have the Amazon knockoff. I'm 6'1", and mostly ride upright. It took the wind off my chest and now it hits around base of my helmet. It's not preferred, but better than it was. If you go this route, also a good time to invest in some new rubber well nuts and bolts. I elected for anondized black screws, cheap eBay purchase.
