It's currently resting at my Aunty's house so at least I don't see it all the time. It seems to pop into my head at least once every hour though.
I'm not sure why it is so satisfying pressing that starter button and hearing the engine
there's got to be some primal reason behind it! Large mammalian predators often make similar noises I suppose - loud and deep growling. With that in mind, surely hearing the bike should be a scary thing, not a nice thing.
Maybe it's to do with the thought that you are in control of the bike, ie - in control of the beast. I don't know.
