bubble in the front brake reservoir

hey guys, is it normal to see a little bubble from time to time in the brake reservoir? sometimes its there, sometimes it's not. I can see it from the clear circular indicator. am I supposed to not see any line or anything and that it's supposed to be filled to the very top without any air?

Remove lid, make sure it's full to the mark, otherwise it's fine, as long as the brake feels right.

There needs to be a little air space in the reservoir for the brakes to be functional.

I was wondering why the ninjette had such a funky looking gasket for the reservoir.

Just leave it. That's where the air is supposed to be. No harm, and if you mess with it, you're likely to spill fluid, endangering your paint.
