Front brake reservoir in the way

I'm not sure if I have a long torso or what but I am finding that the angle of the front brake lever would be more comfortable if it was lower. Problem is that the brake lever is connected to the reservoir and is blocked by the handlebar mount. Is there another way or are clip-ons my only solution?

looked for pics but didnt have any.

You can move it down. Just losen the two 8mm bolts and ajust it where you want it. Thats what I did when I had my OEM hadles.

If your having to rotate it down more then when the reservoir hits the handlebar mount, then your sitting way to far forward on the bars, or riding with your arms extended almost straight down. Try sitting back so your forearms are more parallel with the ground as well as loosening up at your elbows. That will flatten out your wrist more and put the brake lever more in line with the palm of your hand, which is where you want it.

Keep in mind also, that by rotating the reservoir that far, your creating an open void close to the fluid intake in the master cylinder and are more likely to draw in air.

Interesting. I'll have to pay more attention to my arms next time. What do you mean sitting way too far forward on the bars? Do you mean too close to the tank? I feel like the seat doesnt let me sit farther back because of the slope. It keeps wanting me to slide forward so I just sit whereever it lets me sit without sliding around. Usually an inch from bashing into the tank or so. Maybe the seat reshaping should happen earlier than later.
