Because we have a community that doesn't pull crap like what I attached.

A little back story. I member of that forum had a FS thread and stated his price was the best around, I told him they usually sell for about $20 shipped less than he was asking. He stated he would match it if I could provide proof, I provided 2 links for the price I stated. He decided not to match the price like he stated. One of the mods took my actions offensively and banned me.

My understanding is that he is a mod. I'm just glad they we don't have people like that in our little slice of heaven over here.

Aren't they run by http://www.socialknowledge.com/ now? Just contact the parent company and let them know a mod on one of their sites is being offensive.

I thought that site was run, or mod-ed by a Ninjette member that pops up every now and again..... apparently I was wrong. I didn't even know there were companies buying forums (that ain't good).

Ok guys the post below to Caps was not a MOD. just a forum member. He has had a one day cooling off ban also... Actually since midnight only a half for each just to stop the madness.
People are people and flaming happens. The best we can do is try to quell it quickly.

The New Admins took over an almost abandoned forum and we have 2 ADMINS, A TECH ADMIN AND 2 LOW END MOD.. CLEANS UP SPAM ETC...
it actually is turning into a well run place and I have gained interest back into it and am a low end Mod.Also not even sure it was a purchase but maybe a rescue.

I will not go into the drama here but I wanted to make it clear that a MOD did not send that message below and things were handled in the most sensible way by admin and mod other than myself. Sorry there are feelings hurt sometime it just happens. But to go on reading this as if the Mods are running rampant is just plain not correct... I have been on this forum ( ninjette)from mainly the beginning and I have watched growing pains also. Best regards. Z

I'm glad to see he ISN'T a mod

and its more about the community as a whole then it is about a mod.

Shame it happened, but don't attack a team, or site because of ONE experience. I've been on this site and New Ninja from the start, we pride ourselves on keeping a community/family feel to the site. A quick browse through the forum and anyone can see we don't allow flaming. We want to be as far from a 'kawiforum' etc as possible in that respect.

I'm sorry your experience differed to many others.
