just bought my first bike need help plz

I just purchased a 2012 Kawasaki 250r and i am having some issues with it hoping you guys can help me

1) the person who I bought it from said the thermostat needs to be replaced but he said there is a front and rear but from all my research I can only find one on the bike am I right or is he

2) the bike ideals at like 3 to 4 rpm seems high and sounds a bit weird not sure if this is normal or not and not sure what this could be the cause maybe the thermostat not really sure

3) my last problem hopefully i took it for a little test drive and it was leaking oil that seemed to be mixed with gas because it was dark and smelled like gas a bit not sure where it is coming from have not taken the farings off yet hopefully it will be obvious leak but if not i have no clue what to look for

this is my first motorcycle any tips or advice would be amazing thank you and if anyone else had these problems what was the solution. Thank you

1st thing turn the way high current idle down to 1300-1500 using the black knob . Got a manual to guide you where stuff is? If not, get one.

There's only one thermostat in the EX250's cooling system.

Gasoline in oil usually comes from a petcock that's not shutting off properly, along with one or both carburetor float valves not shutting off properly.
