2007 Ninja 250 Handlebar Wobble & Fork Seal Leak
Hey everyone, I have had my first bike for a couple weeks now and it has developed a fork seal leak, and I can't ride one-handed without the handlebars wobbling. I'm very inexperienced and I'm not sure what the best way to go about these issues are. I would just take it to a shop but I don't want to be charged up the ###. Any advice is appreciated!

Wobble can be caused by many different things or a combination. An out of true wheel, loose wheel bearings (front or rear), loose swing arm bushings, a lumpy tire, and loose steering bearings are all contributors.
As far as the fork seal, you may be able to clean the gunk on the underside without disassembling things, or you may have to replace it (them). Search "cleaning fork seals". Welcome to the board, Bryant! |
