Problem with leaky carbs

Hi I know this is a ninja forum, but please help I have a problem with my EL250. The float valve seat is not sealing properly but i tried fixing it with q-tip and steel ball, but it doesn't work. I replaced the valve and still not work. Does anybody have any idea how to fix it?

I should hang the fuel tank above the carbs or pouring fuel to hose with bottle is okay?, because the fuel only leaks when the carbs are plugged to fuel tank and after about minute they leak

to test (as shown in pic) a gravity fed fuel source mounted above is required. Whether an alternative tank (such as a lawn mower tank) or your bike tank (petcock seet to prime) is your choice. Its really not rocket science.

IF your levels are high.....pull the bowl(s) and reset/adjust the tang on the floats until you get a similar level to what is pictured, equal in both carbs.

This is fairly easy/doable with carbs actually off the bike.

Today I tried doing that, but the carbs started overflowing immediately but when i checked the floats they were okay amd i didn't see any dirt on the valve and the seat and i saw that the seat has 2.4 written on top does anybody knows what that means?

2.4 marking is a size reference to the actual seat opening (2.4mm)

If you've got overflowing carbs.....where would the fuel to cause that condition be coming from....other than the float needle and seat? Eh?

Simply track the flow of fuel
