I hear there's a lot of people out there that converted the 88-07 pregen 250 ninja rear swing arm to the newer 2008 ones that were aluminum n alllowd the 17" wheel......I found a swing arm and wheel. but what other part will I need? as in what other 2008 parts will I need? id like to use all the parts I can that I already hav.

So far, there's been 1 guy who's gone through the whole conversion with the front and back from an '08
http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showp...3&postcount=19 But there are racers who have found ways to fit the 08+ wheels in the 88-07 swingarm and forks with some other custom made pieces to get the brake calipers lined up and wheels spaced properly etc. I forget which thread that's in, but use the search bar and it shouldn't take too long to find. If you do the conversion with one end, do the other end as well. No use having a nice 17" sticky radial tire on one end and a 16" bias ply on the other, plus that would look dumb. |
