Lightbulb Turn Signal Short Help

So I've had my 09 Ninja 250r now for 5 years, it has not been super well maintained, but by Jesus does it get me to work here and there. Anyhow the other day I was riding and just realized my turn signals were not working.

So today, I tried to replace the fuse. I put the new fuse in, and hey! there we go, we got turn signals! then it stopped. fuse fried. tried another fuse, just nothin.

So I'm guessing I have a short somewhere, but I'm not exactly a bike mechanic and not sure where to look which wires go to the signals etc.

any advice would be great!

Update: seems that the when I replace the fuse, the left signal works, but when I put the right signal on it fries the fuse. So does this just mean there's some issue with the wiring on the right side of the motorcycle?

If you haven't already fixed this, I would try removing both right turn signal bulbs, then see if the fuse blows. If not, then put in one bulb and try it.

Light bulbs normally fail open, but you got something weird going on. Could be worn wire insulation grounding out someplace...
