KKIM made me do it!
Glad to find another forum to take up my time instead of riding
J/k I am in Dayton, OH. Stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB as an aircraft mechanic. Riding for 1 season now. Just started to tinker with the bike, since the snow is here. |

I'm an engine specialist so all I've known is the C-130.. Supposedly they "shredded" us together somewhat like how the crew chiefs are. That's a whole 'nother nightmare by itself, but one of these days it'd be cool to work on something else.

Clumping all engine guys together is not the best idea
Sharp troops will take it in stride...but...your duller blades in the shop(pun intended) will try to apply one engine technique/part to another and mess things up bad. Plus you lose the turnaround speed of someone that works on a few engines exclusively. Good Luck **EDIT - 130s in Tx, are you at Dyess?**

I feel your pain. I have flown in more times than I can count. The base has improved by leaps and bounds with the new BX/Shoppette/Gym and associated operating hours.
I never got to leave base, don't know the area.
